Re: The last Blu-ray you bought (Round 3)

^ I still have my doubts I'm going to like that as much as everyone else has, otherwise I'd go to the trouble of importing the 3D version. I picked it up the reg Bd from Target, but probably should just wait to check it out from the library and then make a purchase decision.

These came in today

the movie is awesome. the 3D, i read, is ok at best. but, the colors and style of movie, i'm sure 3D will just add a little bit more and make it more than worth while in this format and you can get on Amazon US as well...

I didn't realize when I kicked in an extra £3 for tracked shipping, that Arrow would be shipping the in-stock items separately from the pre-order, but they would also get delivered via Fed Ex within a week.

I hope it wasn't this one I paid $80 for last fall.

People were warning me that thing would be heavily discounted and on clearance shelves in six months, but I didn't want to risk missing it.

Re: The last Blu-ray you bought (Round 3)

Haven't been buying much of anything lately, but being that this is one of my personal top-10 favorite movies of all time on blu for the first time, and Criterion to boot, no way I was gonna pass it up...

Yes its the same one that I bought from Walmart for just 19 bucks this past weekend.

No problem- other than seeing something else I can be depressed about since I could have saved $60 if I'd just waited.

As far as mass market toys goes, I was waiting forty years to see something this closer to screen accurate for this particular vehicle.
I thought it was a decent buy for $80, considering the price tags of things like a DeAgo or Bandai Falcon kit. At under $20, it's a steal.
