That's true for every catalog title. They come out at some ridiculous MSRP every time. I wait, bide my time, check different sits and sales, then pull the trigger when they dip to $12 - $15. The MSRPs are real eye-rollers.

Re: The last Blu-ray you bought (Round 3)

I lucked out and caught a good sale online...

Aside from Shin Godzilla and the Knight Rider set ($24.99 and $29.99 respectively), the whole lot totaled $341.39. All the Shout Factory stuff was around @$11 each. And the Criterions @$14 or less (except the Colors box set which was $30). The top one is In the Mouth of Madness.

I did see it back on VHS as a kid and I do like a younger Kate Capshaw and Kelly Preston. I just don't need it right now.

For the record, here are the extras. 2 interviews.
This is the second time you've called me out in this thread for what I buy and/or what price I pay. What's up with that?

I have The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (Kino) & Re-animator (Arrow) coming in a couple of weeks from Amazon. I wasn't planning anything else to buy for the rest of the year on a self-imposed restriction but then I got another title off my want list last night from Amazon UK......

One of the reviewers said it was a bittersweet ending, I guess I'll find out.

Picked up Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Want to watch all 7 ape films at work this week before going to war on Sunday but might just watch the newer two. Put in the original last night and just wasnt feeling it. Might try again tonight.

Agree - I love it. The ending is quite good and heartbreaking. Although I would place Apocalypse Now at #2.

*edit - I had to do a google image-search - Conversation! Yes, I'd put that at #4 of Coppola's best, after GF1&2 and AN.

Sorry Sorry I was trying to quote the response to my Blu-ray post on THE CONVERSATION. It didn't work so sorry for the confusion. I hope this helps.

Same here, even though all 4 films are 5/5 for me.
