Went to a flea market today, picked up 5 videos including 3 seasons of different TV series and 2 movies. Of the five, 2 were BDs: Continuum: Season One and I Am Number Four (BD+DVD+DC) for what turned out to be $1.60 ea.

Re: The last Blu-ray you bought (Round 3)
I dropped by Walmart and was surprised to see the Shout Factory release of "Ben," the sequel to the original "Willard" for just $12.96 so I grabbed it along with the dump-bin title, "Texas Rising" for $7.88, Not the best reviews but it features the late Bill Paxton and a pretty noteworthy group of co-stars...so I'll give it a spin.
I need to find other things to do in the morning rather than checking out various websites and emptying my wallet. I happened upon a bunch of new stuff available from the folks at Hamilton Books. The readers at Blu-ray.com are hip to this seller now, so you have to move fast. I quickly snatched up the Canadian steelbook of "Appaloosa" for $14.95, the "Starship Troopers Trilogy" for $14.95, Bob Dylan: Don't Look Back," "How Green Was My Valley," "Stalag 17," "City Slickers," "High Anxiety," "Robin Hood Men in Tights" and "The King of Comedy" for $5.95 each, "A Man Called Horse" for $4.95," "Eastern Promises" for $3.95 and both "Alpha Dog" and "Arlington Road" for just $1.95.

Re: The last Blu-ray you bought (Round 3)
I've been on two different kicks lately. One is to get as many OOP blu rays as I can get. I actually managed to get a good lot of them recently. I'd still like to find The Phantom (1996) and My Super Ex-Girlfriend.
I actually managed to snag a sealed copy of Two Girls and a Guy from Secondspin two weeks ago that I'm still in heavy debate on whether to open or not.
And the other is importing stuff that hasn't been released over here.
Got these two this week.

Re: The last Blu-ray you bought (Round 3)
I read an article about the disappearing Aussie Mom & Pop video stores and it stated that the Aussies are buying up DVDs and Blu-rays in a frenzy... Some of the most obscure stuff is highly sought after. I have been in the same buying mode. Thankfully, I have many local outlets for used discs here in Phoenix so I've been pretty lucky finding much of what I've wanted. Many small labels are reissuing these titles as well so I refuse to pay some of the crazy prices being offered. My holy grail is "Apt Pupil." Since it is a Bryan Singer film and based on a Stephen King story, it will most likely be reissued at some point. I'm hoping Sony or someone else somebody else releases Ralph Bakshi's "American Pop."

DD sale order came in. I guess I got off lucky as only Hell In The Pacific arrived with a busted case.
Frustrating, but at least none of the disc were loose and scratched.

Re: The last Blu-ray you bought (Round 3)
a partial Amazon Uk order and the remainder of the Scream Factory Sale order came in today.
The Bd in Magus was loose, but I can't see any scratches or dings. It's a film I'm curious about but probably won't get around to watching for a while, so I'm gonna have to hope there's nothing faulty with it I can't see.
Was surprised to see that Black Christmas still came with a slipcase despite Shout apparently selling through all their stock on hand recently. The Bad Dreams Dbl Feature looks like an Amazon 'Shrinkwrap refreshed" offering- complete with an ugly, blistered window from a too hot heat gun. Looking forward to experiencing it again after 30 years. One of only a few films I went to the theater "dosed" back in the day. Ended up being the perfect state for the material.
