The weekly price comparison threads are always a good place to start. ;)

I have all the coupons linked there.

Summary:

They are $17 each at TRU if you buy both. There are current $5 and $10 printable coupons, and you may already have the mail-in $8 coupons. TRU is pretty good at accepting multiple coupons, although three for each title would be a stretch.

TRU also has a deal thru today where you get $20 off another Disney title if you pre-order both Toy Stories.

Best scenario (ended Saturday) was getting Princess and the Frog and the two $5 pre-orders for $7 out the door, and then the two Toy Storys (and $6 of filler items) for free on Tuesday after $30 in coupons. Even better if they take the $8 coupons of course.

As much as I want all the Criterion blu-rays that are coming out this week, I'll have to let the DVDs of those movies I already have hold me over until I can find them for super cheap.

I'm also skipping the Toy Story releases for the inevitable 3-movie box set that should be out by the Fall.

But I will be getting:

- Fantastic Mr. Fox
- African Queen
- Mad Men 3

Red Cliff is in transit. Will get Toy Story 1 and 2 just because they are so cheap after coupons. Eventually will pick up Yojimbo and Sanjuro.

This reminds me of the old days of DVD, several great titles coming out on the same day.

The African Queen (Love this movie, saw it on the old B&W TV when I was a kid, I am sure it will be great after all these years. Can't wait to share Bogart/Hepburn with my kids. What a Classic)

Wow, some decent movies but it looks like people are mostly interested in the cartoons. Must be a lot of parents on this site.

^Especially when a movie like Fantastic Mr. Fox is 100% a Wes Anderson picture, it just happens to be animated.

Eh, you know us adults and our cartoons. Crap part is when my damn kid starts going "Oh, I want to see too!!" HELL NO. It's MY Toy Story - go to your room and watch more Barbie movies....:D2:
