EDIT: No way! I can't believe I actually typed this. I really hated not getting Answers, and was disappointed, but Lost is still my #1 favorite show. Wow. It's amazing what a few days can do for someone.

In my timeline, they don't even offer the long white laser pointer or flash drive. Does that mean that I'm dead? Did Gizmo really ever give me some useful tips on some Canadian blu Ray titles? I don't know what to believe anymore.

The Press Release says there are 4 commentary tracks....The Series Finale is not one of them. Instead we get a commentary track on everyone's favorite episode "Across the Sea" along with LA X, Dr. Linus, Ab Aeterno

I would be interested in knowing how they are going to pack all those discs in to those small cases. Probably some way I won't approve of.

I LOVE the Season 6 cover art, but dislike the design for the complete series set. Which works out for me seeing as how I already purchased Seasons 1-3 on DVD, then all 5 on Blu-ray, and will just need the final set.

At least both sets get all the extra show footage. To have it be otherwise would be total BS.

However, I loved the comic con footage and Lost Slap downs and am disappointed those will be exclusive to the complete series set... Now, I dunno...

Yep, just S6 for me. The Complete series will likely just be the BDs in DVD-like cases so it will look like crap if you tried to display the Series on your Blu-ray shelf. Don't need the other toys.

Yeah, I don't like the packaging design at all... and I don't care for the extra "toys", as you put it, either. But I want the comic con and Lost Slapdown stuff... However, is that REALLY worth getting rid of my current sets and ponying up more cash for this weird package? Definitely not.

Agreed, the toys are stupid, but I only have the first 2 seasons in SD since I knew a complete collection would come out. This has by far been my favorite show, so stupid toys or not I will be buying it.

I thought that the finale pretty much spoke for itself and any discussion by the producers or writers would just stir up more shit. However, it would be nice to hear what they have to say about it.

So it's either sell 1, 4, 5 and the SD's of 2 and 3 and buy the complete for the bonus disc and the case that won't fit anywhere. Or buy 6 and 2 and 3 when I can find a deal on them. Think I might just stick with what I have since deals on 2 and 3 should be plentiful with people dumping them in anticipation of the complete set.

I bought Seasons 1-4 on DVD, sold them on eBay to upgrade to Blu-Ray. Bought the Dharma Initiative Season 5 Box and am keeping that but sold the Blu-Ray's to get this. I'm alright with this. I believe I have double-dipped twice but I love this show and I made most of my money back anyways so it's all good lol.

What I want to know is... is there anyone here who hasn't purchased the show yet who plans on getting the complete series set but wouldn't care one way or the other about owning the bonus disc? I'd be willing to pay to get that, and then I can rest easily getting the S6 set... I'm doubtful anyone here is that nice, but who knows... (worth a shot, right?)

Id much rather hear a commentary for Across the Sea than The End. Just to hear why the episode is the way it is. So I hope it is a commentary with Damon and Carlton

ITA, Damon and Carlton struggled to talk the full length of the two-part S4 finale commentary. They were pretty silent the last 20 mnutes. "The End" is 20 mnutes longer than S4 finale, so I'm glad there is no commentary track for it.

Thank Jacob that the exclusive bonus disc for the complete series set looks rather mundane! Nothing on it looks like a MUST have/can't live without to me....I'm doing the happy dance for the confirmation that the Ben/Hurley bonus scene will be on the 6th season set!!
Now I can just grab the 6th Season BD set (w/BB bonus disc) to complete my collection and enjoy keeping the regular packaging and not that unwieldy island box nonsense....
