Just saw this posted on IGN. Everything seems to be the same as the older release except the cover art is different.
January 12, 2010 - On February 2, 2010, Paramount Home Entertainment will release We Were Soldiers on Blu-ray.
Mel Gibson and Randall Wallace, the star and writer of Braveheart, reunite for this action-packed war movie about the battle in the Valley of Death in Vietnam, 1965, where one man promised his troops that they would not be left behind, dead or alive. The film was previously released on Blu-ray in 2007. It will contain bonus materials and extra features, though no pricing point has been set.
The We Were Soldiers Blu-ray will feature the following bonus materials:
-- Commentary by director/writer Randall Wallace
-- "Getting It Right" - Behind-the-Scenes of We Were Soldiers
-- Deleted Scenes with director's commentary
-- Theatrical Trailer
