Need help about Alien vs Predator BD!
 

The back cover lists the running time as 101 mins however also states that it includes both theatrical and Unrated extended cuts. Which "extended" cut is included, slightly longer 101 cut or 108 min unrated extended cut?

I don't know of two different unrated versions. I believe the disc contains the PG-13 US theatrical version and the Unrated Collector's Edition version contained in a later US 2-disc set.

It's the theatrical cut and the slighter longer 101-minute cut.

I've read a couple contradicting reviews and either Fox quietly reissued a new disc or the reviewers are simply mistaken. DVDtalk's own review claims that only the slightly longer cut is included yet Bluray.com claims to have unrated extended cut with added footage marker. I'm confused.

It has the theatrical and the 101min extended versions while the added footage marker feature is for the 101min extended version.

I just put the disc in my player, clicked Unrated, and clicked the seek bar to the end of the credits. Ran 1:48:40, or 108m 40s. So I don't know what's up with your guys' discs. Disc copyright is 2006, UPC is 024543414155.

ETA: Clicking over to the Theatrical Version, there is even a gallery of 6 scenes ("Antarctica 1904", "Argument", "Chamber of Skulls", "Sacrifice", "[spoiler]" and "Predator Ritual") under a submenu titled "Added Unrated Footage".

The disc otherwise contains 2 commentaries (Theatrical), the aforementioned Added Footage Marker (Unrated), a Trivia Track (both), D-BOX Motion Code (both), and trailers (both).

Again, in case my post was skimmed over, the Blu-Ray has the 108 minute unrated cut. I guess I expected someone to comment on it by now...?

Well, I'll have to check again later this week on it. I must have gone by the back of the case or it was gnomes that made me think it was only 101imins.

I think there were two releases of this on Blu-ray, the original release with the short extended cut, and a later rerelease with the longer cut and some PIP material. Not exactly sure.

what is strange is that the bluray is currently not even up for oders on amazon!
as reason the following text is stated:

If the run time is 108 mins, then it has to be the later Extended Unrated Cut. Thanks!

And yes, the movie is a bonafide stinker but its a guilty peasure of sorts.
