My guess is it won’t get a lot cheaper. The last couple sales they’ve had directly on their site have been decent. I got a few titles around New Years too for decent prices.

Creepshow is one of the titles I ordered from this sale, for that very reason (it likely won't get much cheaper)

Since Shout has gotten into releasing some Warner catalog titles. I wish they could get into some of Steven Segal's movies. I've watched both Under Siege movies recently and they seem like they could be a good fit for Shout.

Or a couple other Stallone movies like The Specialist and Assassins.

The Specialist or Demolition Man would be good too. I never saw Assassins.

Assasins was a grind to get through...saw it in theaters and was disappointed. I recently watched Demo Man on Hulu and that is a fun film. The Specialist would be fun to watch again in HD even with some of the hammy acting from folks in the film like Rod Steiger.

I love those Stallone movies but it would be tough to buy Shout Factory versions when I just bought WB's 3 blu pack of The Specialist/Cobra/Assassins for 5 bucks at 7-eleven of all places.

Maise Williams plays a dying teenager with cancer in the quirky Then Came You. Nina Dobrev of Vampire Diaries also has a role. The indie movie was filmed a couple of years ago and just came out on home video.

Absolute shit artwork, but I'll still be picking this up. I loved this movie. I'm guessing the extras will include most of what was on the French 2 disc special edition. It had some great extras and a long documentary on it. Unfortunately, it was dubbed in French, so I understood very little of it. So hopefully that will be on there without it being dubbed, since it sounded like the dub was over English interviews.

Eh, but luckily, at least the interior will likely be reversible with the original poster art.

IDK, I recently watched it and far from perfect, had some good scenes, especially Antonio Banderas overacting.

Cool announcement and Gans is working with SF on it. I have the French Gans approved edition aslo, and just read that some editions of that French BD went bad with laser rot or just became unplayable. I'm gonna have to check on mine.

Just saw the special features for Paradise Alley and they didn't even try. It's not the best movie, but with all of the crazy wrestlers in the cast, surely there was some room for exploration.

Bonus Features

  • Trailers
  • Radio Spots
  • Still Gallery

Had some issues with mine not last Halloween, but the one before that. Took a few goes, but it finally played.

I'm ecstatic about the Shout Factory release.

There's a scene that would definitely benefit from the disc also containing a full frame presentation.

The problem with that sale is that the prices are not that great, nor is the selection. It might as well be labeled the we want to get rid of some shit sale,
