^ I don’t think I liked that movie, but those extras, especially with Aykroyd, sound great and worth price of admission.

I really hated Nothing But Trouble, so that's an easy pass for me.

Picked up Deadly Friend on DVD for $3 at Big Lots years ago, and that seems good enough for that movie. I do like the new cover, though, and I might have considered it if I didn't already own it. But, aside from one scene -- like Sleepaway Camp -- it's a mostly forgettable C-grade 80s horror movie.

In addition, will finally be in widescreen. IIRC, the DVD (at least in North America) was full frame only.

I've never watched Krampus but Scream Factory is releasing a 4k/Bluray combo pack on November 16 in a "Naughty Cut". I'd say I'm intrigued and might want to watch this new cut.

I would suggest renting it first to check it out. I liked the movie but I saw it in the theater.

Yeah, agreed. It’s an okay movie, and I also saw it in the theater, but haven’t had the urge to rewatch it since. I am a bit curious about the new cut though.

Wait, so I’m gonna have to buy the new Halloween 1-5 now. Ugh. I thought Shout! was definitive. But with atmos, new scan on Blu and new extras. Ah crap.

I want the 1-3 sets but I don’t really care about 4 and 5 as the Blu-rays in the previous 10 disc set are enough for me.

Fuck me, am I ALREADY going to have to double dip on a UHD? Already have Halloween on UHD, but this new transfer and Atmos has me interested. I watch it every year.

Halloween 1-5 isn’t a set, it’s a bundle. All five are available separately. I preordered the big boxes of 1-3 from Sacred Bones when this was announced.
Part 5 is pretty bad, but the found footage intrigues me.
In reality unless you’re getting these for the UHD, the previous Shout set is just fine.

M. Butterfly is the one Cronenberg film I just don't like. I hope Shout can get Spider.

I kind of glanced over the features for The Revenge of Michael Myers as it may very well be my least favorite entry in the series. I initially missed that it has newly found footage. Somewhat interested, but not enough to pay full price for that film.

Spider with Ralph Fiennes is great! Can’t believe you can’t even stream or own this anywhere in any form.

Even though there's some new bonus material in these 4K releases of Halloween 1-5 (on the BDs), I simply cannot sink $30 per title on these when I already own the Halloween set that came out a few years ago.

Maybe if there's a good sale, but I just can't sink that kind of money for another dip into this series right now.

I only really care about the first movie (so I never bought the box) and if they FINALLY get the mono track right, then I will gladly double dip on the 4k. The tv version is just icing on the cake.
