Is the standard edition of Gone With the Wind OOP?

Just got a Blu Ray player for one TV this past week and wanted to get a few outstanding discs. All I've been able to find in stores is the overpriced Ultimate Collectors Edition. Amazon shows a regular release, but it's only marketplace stuff and they want as much as the UCE.

Is this temporarily OOP or does Warner expect people to shell out for the UCE now?

That is a Target exclusive, last I saw they still have it in stock.

Ah, thanks for the clarification on that one. The UCE has the discs in a book, correct?

The Ultimate Collector's Edition is four discs in a box:

Disc One: The movie with commentary

Disc Two: Special features for the movie on BD

Disc Three: When The Lion Roars documentary on DVD

Disc Four: Soundtrack on CD

Plus a 52 page harcover book and other collectable goodies.

The Target exclusive release is just a single disc with the movie and commentary only. It was a good deal when it was $12.99 on Black Friday, now not so much.

Yeah, the regular price of GWTW at Target is $39.99 for a one-disc movie. It was $34.99 the week of release and $12.99 on Black Friday. Now it's probably back to the regular price. Outrageous if you ask me. I understood the $34.99 on the 3-disc Wizard of Oz (even though it was $12.99 on Black Friday, too), but for a 1-disc movie is ridiculous.

Get the UK version! It was only $27 shipped for me from Amazon, and it has both BDs in a regular (slightly wider UK-style) case along with the superior artwork from the UCE....region free and all menus & extras are in NTSC....
Oh, and it also has a slipcover, if you're into those kind of things...
