Don't tell the people (well, mainly that "chris_sc77" guy) in the DVD forum, but according to DVDActive apparently there will only be a one-disc standard definition release with only an audio commentary for special features, oh noes!

Actually, the press release I got showed a 2-disc SE DVD.
Edit:
It says a "“Scrat Pack” Double DVD Pack Special Features" but yes, the single disc DVD only has a commentary.

Is there no DD5.1 English track? My friend, who doesn't have a home theater, says there's basically nothing on the English track but can hear the Spanish and French tracks.
So, DTS-MA does not downmix to normal stereo like DD can?

I would check the player your friend has....even if it is just hooked up through the TV with the red & white RCA cables for audio, the player should be extracting the core DTS track and playing it in stereo through the TV speakers....maybe there is a setting that was missed? Do they have any other BDs that only have DTS-MA tracks on it, and they work fine??

I thought ALL BD players had to have at least a regular DTS decoder built into them, to play the lossy "core" tracks from DTS-HD or DTS-MA audio soundtracks?
