The "Banlieue 13 Ultimatum" BD is out in France tomorrow, 8/18. Does anyone know if it's locked?

I doubt it would get much more than a very small arthouse showing if at all. Hopefully, at best we can hope for, Marc Cuban will pick this one up like he did the first and show it on HD-Net and then go on to release it in Region A (North America).

I'd have preferred to get the import rather than a domestic Magnolia release. After their debacle with Let The Right One In and their disdain for their customers, I don't really care to give them any more money.

Maybe I'll finally buy that Oppo.

They did okay with releasing the first District B-13. And Let the Right One in was released by Magnet - which I know is part of Magnolia, so maybe there is a difference in how they handle the releases.

Or maybe not.

Didn't even know there was a sequel out. Loved the first film

Looks like the UK will have their versions out in October. Hopefully these will have original language tracks and be Region Free (for the BD at least) :)

Well, not quite. They did screw up the subs track. They only included the one for the hard of hearing and not the normal Eng subs, and never fixed it (at least they never offered an exchange- if anyone has a fixed copy I never heard of it).

if u intrested there is bootleg around on the net ive got my copy its a dvd rip and 5.1and some has done the subs for the movie so it works fine it looks great.i dont think this will go to the cinema's more like straight to dvd :(

I got this last week. It is Region B locked. Subs are good. The English dubbed track is actually pretty damn funny.

See it on HDNet Movies before it's in theatres or on DVD. District 13: Ultimatum has its HDNet Movies Sneak Preview on Wednesday, February 3rd at 8:30 PM ET, with encores that same night at 10:15 and midnight.

They're airing the original before and after as well.
