You cannot go by their website, as it is run as a separate entity, and Walmart stores will not even price match their site....

It will be $19.96 in stores on Tuesday....just like Wolverine, Snow White, and Monsters Vs Aliens were priced at as was shown in the same ad....someone who works for Walmart confirmed this on blu-ray.com....

$20.99 at Fred Meyer tomorrow with free energy drink and band-aids. Not sure of the correlation but a good price none the less.
My Fred Meyer still has 30% off all blu rays but prices still tend to be rather high.

Nice. I can throw that Papa John's coupon on top and not feel so bad about having to buy this turd for my kids.

anyone back east hit any of the 24 hour walmarts yet, Iam trying to get a idea of how its being stocked, ive called a few out here in socal and so far iam hearing a few stores ive called say they might not have the blurays in till wed afternoon and to check back tommorrow.
I am toying with just ordering off walmart.com because iam afraid of it being sold out at the somewhat local walmarts since i have class from 8am till 930am tommorow morning.

My Super Wal-Mart only had about 20 and everyone on Blu-Ray.com is reporting similar stock in their stores, so it appears to be very limited.

Don't know how many mine had. They had a fuckton of the DVD versions (single and big screen), but the BD's were in a box by the register. I got my two and got out of there. $19.96 confirmed.

My 1st Waly only had DVD's & the 2 girls at the counter were worthless.. I was picking up some quick shopping that I left right in front of them at the electronics counter.

My 2nd Waly had 2 displays 1 up front the other back in the Elt dept. only DVD.
I was walking down the center isle to leave when a guy asked my if I needed any help.. F ya..
I asked about the Blu. He said I've got them behind the counter, follow me.

So I got it but forgot about the PJ coupon until I got on this thread ....

I'm in Rockford, IL, and my WalMart (one of 3 in the area) had 2 full cases of Blu - 60 copies. Hell, they may have had more in back, but they definitely had at least that. Maybe these other stores just didnt bring them all out at once?

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - 10/20/09

Well even though its about 3 dollars more i decided to brake down and just order it online with free site to store shipping, just to cover my butt incase they dont have any in the morning, by the time i get there after class. If they do have them in stock in the morning though i can always just cancel my online order before it ships or if they ship it right away in the morning i can just have them refund it at the store when it gets there instead of picking it up.
I might have to wait 7to10 days to get it but atleast now i know i wont be disapointed, the fact that iam seeing so many people on here and bluray.com saying they are going and picking up 2, 5, or 7 copies had me really worried about finding this in the morning.

Now my only concern is that the site to store order arrives that some dumbAZZ employee sees my copy when it arrives and decides to buy it for himself or gives it to someone else looking for the limited edition, and i get stuck with the regular version. but honestly dont expect that to happen lol

I got it. My Wal-Mart had really limited supply of the Blu-Ray.

Been watching some scenes from the movie, and the PQ is just *wow*

Agreed! Especially the "IMAX" scenes. That forest fight looks amazing!

picking this up after work tomorrow... the IMAX Wal-Mart version. Glad to hear good things about it so far.

hopefully it will still be in stock when you get there. i really do hope that its just a matter of the stores not sticking all of the blustock out allready and not a case of each store really only getting between 10 and 20 copies

For anyone planning to get the BB edition, I'd suggest getting it ASAP!

I live in a large city and the first walmart I went to claimed they didn't have any (but that they were hoping for a shipment before normal business hours), the 2nd one had a limited amount (~15-20) with about 10 people waiting around for them (admittedly, some of them were probably getting the DVD).

I'm guessing they'll be gone by the end of the week, if not sooner.

Get the "Big Screen Version" if you can everyone. First off, best Blu-Ray disc I have in terms of technical quality. Audio/Visual...second to none for live action. The added bonus is obviously the IMAX sequences. Just ridiculous picture clarity. RIDICULOUS!

Michael Bay makes a very compelling case (in the commentary), along with what Nolan did with The Dark Knight that I'd much rather Hollywood use IMAX as a gimmick instead of 3D. Nothing against it but using IMAX cameras, to me, seems like a more encompassing experience....

As an aside, Michael Bay slipped in a clear f word during the film I didn't catch until watching this disc with the subtitles on. I was taken aback by it because it's clear as day on the disc and it wasn't during the times in the theatre. Mikaela says when they're trying to revive Sam.

I just went to Walmart at 3am in Union City and they had only one case under the counter. Not sure if they had more or not but they didnt have them out nor a sign for the BD. No problems using the coupon at all. $16.96 + tax. The PQ is definitely a 10 so far.

Got mine this morning at Wal-Mart. At least it doesn't actually say "Big Screen Edition" on the cover.

Definately suggest for those of you going to Wal-Mart, go ASAP. My local store had probably 50-100 copies of the DVD version, but I bought one of the last 5 copies (that I saw at least) left on Blu-Ray.

My Wal-Mart had at least 1 full case of what had to be between 50-100 copies.

Got my Blu-Ray "Big Screen Edition" from Walmart, $19.96 plus tax. They had quite a few of them in both Blu-Ray and DVD. The stupid thing was, all of the Blu-Ray copies were in those plastic security cases, and the lady at the checkout stand spent five minutes trying to open the thing, before she called someone else who finally was able to open it.

HA! I just noticed the exact same thing at about 2am this morning! The rest of the house was asleep, so I was watching with sound moderately low, but subtitles on, and there it was! I backed it up, turned it louder, and sure enough, she said it!

I dont care - I'm certainly not offended or anything. Just not sure how I missed it the first time!
