Glad I saw this! I always take the sticker off and never have a problem with it.. fortunately I didn't notice the one on this case or I'd have tried to peel it

There's a translucent "Made in Mexico" sticker on the back of the slipcover. If you try to remove it, it will peel some of the black artwork off with it. I'd heard some of the warnings, but thought I would try to very carefully remove it anyway. Well, sure enough, the art started to peel, so I stopped what I was doing and just pushed the sticker back down.

Scott's the one who originally posted the concern in this thread. The post he quoted actually came in response to Scott's own post, and had essentially the same content, just worded differently, so Scott was wondering why he posted essentially the same thing.

You were right in your guess up top. I changed his sentence as a joke to make it like the lines in the "Don't" trailer. Kinda sucks the wind out of it to have to explain it, though.

I had pre-ordered this from Moviestop but wasn't able to pick it up until Thursday. While I was there picking it up, someone traded in a copy. I was asked if I still wanted a new copy or if I'd rather have the used copy (which was priced at $14.99). I choose the used copy, and after the director's club discount and deducting the $5 from the preorder (which I used store credit for), I walked out with it for $8.50. Made me happy. I think I am going to start waiting until Thursday to get new releases from now on.

I find it amusing that there have been three pages of posts about a little transparent sticker on the back of a blu-ray slipcover... amusing that you people are making such a big deal about it.

And depressed that I can sort of understand all of the consternation over it...

mine came off no problems at all, just peeled it off like i do all stickers.
ive only had one issue with a sticker not wanting to come off without doing damage (the rambo collection) and i took that one back to the store for a new one

Mine didn't have a sticker, I got it the day before release, and it was free. In fact, they paid me to take it and I get royalties every time I watch it. It's also the extended cut and they made a new scene just for my copy.

i found this complete experience very compelling and liked it better overall than the individual extended editions. i was never fond of Planet Terror at all, but found it much more enjoyable. also, still disliked the 2^nd half of Death Proof. the dialogue is still so anti-QT and not fun at all, especially when compared to the 1^st half which is vintage and perfect.

have yet to get to the extras, but look forward to the making of for trailers.

overall, this was quite a nice experience.

I enjoyed the extended version of the fake trailer for werewolf women of the ss. Pretty decent commentary track as well. I found it intresting that Zombie says they basicly filmed enough footage for a 1/3 of a movie.

yeah...I found that part interesting as well.

Also...I always wondered if Pegg was in that "Don't" Trailer, I could never find him. Turns out..he was under a shit ton of make up and even with that...he's in there for 3 secs MAX ...hell might be 2 secs MAX.

I actually would not have minded seeing Zombie turn it into a full length feature, instead of doing his halloween remake and sequal.
He really needs to stick to original storys and keep clear of remakes in the future(especially remakes of iconic horror movies)

I feel the exact opposite way. The last time I watched Death Proof I skipped the entire first half because I knew what an adrenaline rush the second half was. I wasn't interested in the dialogue too much
