Thief would be awesome.

On another note, talking about non-anamorphic MGM atrocities, I really wish they would release Prizzi's Honor on blu and Witness for the Prosecution. Although Criterion should really take the latter off them and do it right.

Sorry folks, it's not Thief but Hollis Frampton's Winter Solstice. Though I'm sure Frampton is just as popular around here.

Goddammit. Is there any truth to the rumors that Criterion has acquired Thief?

Tomorrow a new image with many hints of 2012 releases will be unveiled on Facebook.

The honking cars could be the previously confirmed Weekend.

I've heard speculation that the necklace she's wearing could be the tanis root from Rosemary's Baby as well.

I'm personally thrilled to see Harold & Maude and Eating Raoul confirmed...

Yeah, totally Harold and Maude. while the motorcycle is slightly different, same length for the coat and the head scarf. Fuck yeah. The DVD is OOP, so as soon as it's announced I'll sell my DVD which should pay for the BD Upgrade.

The big truck holding all the cars is Bad Boys 2? Right? That would be sooo awesome.

The way those cars were arranged around that iceberg made me think of F.W. Murnau's Sunrise, although Noirfan said they might be a reference to Weekend.

The honking pretty much confirms that it's Weekend. Also, the Coney Island sign apparently refers to Lonesome.

Also, the motorcycle with all the mirrors is from Quadrophenia.
