Yeah, but getting it for $40 on amazon means we get it when it's released and won't have to wait for the B&N sale.

Which will likely coincide with the next BN sale. (11/8).

Well, I bought it last night, but I didn't realize my wife had let the Prime expire to try to save us some money. She noticed the shipping charge today, reactivated our Prime and tried to redo the order but Amazon wouldn't do it at the old price. Apparently shipping for one Bluray set was $10.38 without Prime? Is that normal?

I'll wait till November, it'll be fun making the trip to the local store in Oak Brook and seeing all the Christmas decorations.

I meant the high shipping charge. We've had Prime for so little no I don't remember what they used to be like.

Not sure about the high shipping charges either, I always make the formerly $35 threshold or now $49 for free shipment.
Just thought they would at least honor the $39.99 price after reactivating your prime.

I guess the Before Trilogy.

I hope they'll offer Before Sunrise separately. I liked the two sequels, but I think the first one stands out as the best and is much more re-watchable IMO.

For me, it's the middle one.

Loved this movie! Too bad the extras look so skimpy. Bah, who cares? It's really about the movie. It's wondrous (reviewed it when it came out: https://indieethos.com/2015/12/08/he...a-film-review/)

I believe it refers to a 1080p HD Telecine, ie not a recent 2k scan.

Looks like the Del Toro trilogy boxed set will come in a square box:

I wonder what the dimensions on that are, and what the inside looks like...

(Criterion's facebook page has annactual photo of the box.)

Interesting. It's a great movie. In fact I think it was one of the best films I saw in 2015, but I don't know if it's a re-watch for me, though.

Why does he compare the Pan's Labyrinth Criterion Blu-ray to the DVD? Why not compare it to the existing Blu-ray?
