Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV

I'm still waiting for upgraded releases of Independence Day and The Fifth Element with all of the bonus features that were only the deluxe DVD sets. Any word on this or will it never happen?

Yes. The DTS track on the DVD is pretty damn good. Should be great in lossless.

I'd like to pre-order now, but I'll be damned if I'm paying $2 shipping per title.
FWIW, All the 7/5 exclusive titles are at a $10 price — same as the pre-order price for most of them — and can now be ordered for "Site to Store" delivery with no shipping charge.

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV

It looks like Canada is getting a two-pack of [REC] and [REC] 2:

http://www.amazon.ca/REC-1-2-Blu-Ray...0162245&sr=1-2

I've been wanting both of these for a while, so I think I'll have to order this pending reviews.

^ Same here. Well, I'm happy all the time, but this title needs a good release.

From walmart.com:

The Conversation - 10/25
Cider House Rules - 10/4
Cinema Paradiso - 10/4 (currently seems like only the 151-minute version)
