I saw this on VHS while I was in college. It's a really good Urban/Hip Hop drama. Omar Epps is the star and this movie also featured Tupac Shakur.

Disney Movie Club is getting all three Mighty Ducks movies on May 23rd. They also got Cool Runnings back in March. It's unfortunate because I probably would have picked all of those up in store if the price was right.

Now that is a surprising announcement that I like. I wonder how many FNL fans are left around to get it. I've seen the individual DVD sets dumped at Big Lots and the like.
I'll likely get it when FNL comes down to a reasonable price like Miami Vice.

Nice! I've debated grabbing the seasons on DVD at Half Price with coupons (making them around $4 ea) but I think I might spend the extra scratch for the BDs.

Apparently a 2nd S.W.A.T. straight to video sequel is coming to BD this August.

It stars a few familiar faces.

Probably not worth starting it's own thread for, but it was a nice surprise to see Sam Raimi's For Love of the Game coming to Blu Ray on Aug. 8th. It appears to be a Best Buy timed exclusive, but I'll probably bite for $9.99. I just watched it a few weeks ago when it was on and still enjoyed it all these years later. Costner was great in it.

The new Mill Creek Steel Book now has 5.1 surround but nothing saying it's lossless. There's also no mention of a re-master.
