Nice to see Three Amigos come to blu-ray. I saw the movie 3 times in theater and plenty of times on tv since then. I always passed up the dvd because most of the time when I saw it was in a snapper. It always looked so bloody cheap on dvd and hopefully the quality on the blu-ray is decent. I'm not going to wish for anything special (especially at the price on Amazon)...but a good transfer would be lovely.

Ooh, I'll have to check mine out tomorrow and see if they have it. Such an incredibly enjoyable flick.

I have a $20 RZ GC waiting for me and that would make for a nice freebie

I posted in the store exclusives topic, but the more blatant Islamic references have been removed.

Ah, must have missed that. Glad to see the film is getting a Blu-ray release, it's an underrated, creepy movie.

The score is a bit lush and Wyler's direction too glossy for the material, but Terence Stamp manages to be both frightening and strangely sympathetic in the title role.

I recorded off MAXHD last night The Ghost and the Darkness and I continue to ask why the heck this hasn't made it to BD is beyond me. I guess I'll have to settle for the upcoming African CATS.

Definitely grab Planes, Trains and Autos by Thanksgiving. It's a most wanted for me. I only have the first release which was pretty crappy but I watch this every Thanksgiving after everyone has left.

Naked Gun I will hold off until all three are released since I own the trilogy set. Airplane is an easy one as long as it is the "Don't Call Me Shirley" Edition and Planes, Trains and Automobiles will be given strong consideration once it drops to $10.
