DVD style cases :(
thats not good.

Though i guess its really no different than what Disney Did with Snow whites DVD and Bluray packagaing 6 weeks after the bluray dvd packaging came out.

What also sucks about some of those combos is that even with 2 discs, you still don't get the missing extras. For instance, Speed on DVD was a 2-disc set, and the BD didn't have the extras on the second disc. It would be nice if they could give you a package with the BD and the second DVD, but of course here they're giving you the first DVD to watch the movie somewhere else.

I'm with you guys. I do not want DVD cases. I don't even think I'm being unreasonable either.

Both Elizabeth films on 4/27. Should be official soon (if not already?). Got the presser earlier today. Looks like these will not be Flippers.

Ack do these combo flippers support a dual layer Blu-ray side?
If not then these will be even more compressed than the HD-DVD releases.

Errr....they are normal BDs from what I read. No Flippers/Combos.

Doesn't Universal own 'Mulholland Drive' in the U.S.? Unless they license it out to Lionsgate to release (which I doubt).

I haven't seen this mentioned yet so just in case it's news, Amazon.com has Toy Story 1 and 2 as March 23rd releases. ...I have fewer than 30 posts so I can't link any URL's. Wow, that's more annoying than it should be.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has revealed its slate of catalog releases for April and May, which also includes one title from MGM. The most notable entries are Ron Howard's 1985 science-fiction movie Cocoon, as well as the release on individual editions of several Mel Brooks movies previously available only in The Mel Brooks Collection.

The schedule is as follows:

* April 6:
o Cocoon
o The Thomas Crown Affair (MGM)
* May 4:
o Elektra (Director's Cut)
* May 11:
o The Edge
o High Anxiety
o History of the World: Part I
o Marked for Death
o Robin Hood: Men in Tights
All the shit they could be releasing, they pick Elektra. :lol:
