In other Fox news, the studio (along with MGM) is re-issuing a swarm of its previous Blu-ray titles on 4/6 as Blu-ray + DVD Combos (SRP $19.99 each). Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV
What also sucks about some of those combos is that even with 2 discs, you still don't get the missing extras. For instance, Speed on DVD was a 2-disc set, and the BD didn't have the extras on the second disc. It would be nice if they could give you a package with the BD and the second DVD, but of course here they're giving you the first DVD to watch the movie somewhere else.

I'm with you guys. I do not want DVD cases. I don't even think I'm being unreasonable either.

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV
Both Elizabeth films on 4/27. Should be official soon (if not already?). Got the presser earlier today. Looks like these will not be Flippers.

Going from recent history with previous Studio Canal titles, most of these will be released in the UK by Optimum Home Entertainment around the same time, and possibly even in the US by Lionsgate a few months later. |

If not then these will be even more compressed than the HD-DVD releases. |

Eww, definitely not buying those BD+DVD combos.

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV
Doesn't Universal own 'Mulholland Drive' in the U.S.? Unless they license it out to Lionsgate to release (which I doubt).

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV
I haven't seen this mentioned yet so just in case it's news, Amazon.com has Toy Story 1 and 2 as March 23rd releases. ...I have fewer than 30 posts so I can't link any URL's. Wow, that's more annoying than it should be.
