I'm keeping both. Seriously, if you're a big fan of this flick keep the R2 for the extras but you NEED this for the PQ. It blows the UK disc away!

Re: Creepshow: 9/8/09

I wanted to thank all those who have offered such kind comments about our work on the Region 2 Special Edition of CREEPSHOW. It was a labor of love for all involved.

While I was disappointed in WB's decision to not pursue putting the documentary, commmentary, deleted scenes, and BTS footage on the new BluRay, I have to say that the transfer on the BD is fantastic, and actually a downconverted version of it was used by Universal on the R2 Special Edition, thanks to WB allowing them to use it for their release.

I still hold out hope that one day, the CREEPSHOW documentary will see an official release here in the U.S....

The UK "Creepshow" disc is the reason I went region free. The doc alone was worth buying a new player.

Re: Creepshow: 9/8/09

Apologies for the bump, but I thought some Creepshow fans might be interested in this 12" limited-edition 'Father's Day' figure, complete with ashtray, severed head cake (with light-up candles!) and serving tray.

They're working on a 'Fluffy' figure too - perhaps a set for each story?
