I haven't seen anyone post this yet. From Blu-Ray.com. Vote for Armageddon! Or - maybe not.

Vote for the Next Criterion Blu-ray Release
Posted April 29, 2009 02:35 PM by Josh Dreuth

Criterion Collection home video releases are some of the most coveted in the entire industry, so it was no shock that when the company began releasing Blu-rays, fans started begging for their favorites to get the high definition treatment. Now, they have the chance. Criterion has teamed up with Amazon to let fans vote for which Criterion release will get a high definition upgrade.

For the vote, Criterion has selected five very diverse films from their available catalog: 'Au Revoir Les Enfants', 'Down by Law', 'Howards End', 'Kwaidan', and 'Picnic at Hanging Rock'.

The winning film will see Blu-ray treatment as part of the next wave of Criterion films. You must be a member of Amazon to vote.

I voted for Au Revoir Les Enfants. It's such a great film.

Well you clearly didn't look very hard. It's in the criterion blu-ray thread like 3 under this :)

I agree that it's a great film.

With that said, I voted for Picnic At Hanging Rock, if only so that the planned rerelease of it FINALLY gets released...

I voted for Kwaidan, but only if it was the full 183 minute cut of the film.

"Howards End" - it may be the best film of the nineties...

Vote here for Kwaidan, with a comment to make certain it's the International cut with the proper color timing.

Down By Law, as sadly, it's the only one I've seen so far...

Re: Vote for the next Crierion BD release

I voted Down By Law only because I am not certain that Criterion has access to the full cut of Kwaidan, that would be my top choice if the have the 3 hour version.

Of this lot, "KWAIDAN" (the complete cut this time, naturally).

But out of all of the Criterion/Janus holdings, my most coveted BD upgrade would be the 205-minute "Scorsese print" of "ANDREI RUBLEV" (with a second blu-ray disc containing the 180-minute "Mosfilm cut").
