No True HD? Wow, that sucks. I'm glad we get the entire series on Blu ray - all 2 seasons of it. Sigh....it's the great ones that shine so bright, yet fade away so quickly. I'm gonna miss the unique quirkiness of this show.

Very glad this has finally been announced. I was quite worried.

Never watched the show when it was on TV, so I hope there is a little closure. Absolutely loved the first season.

YES!!!! I really wasn't expecting the BD! Lossy audio sucks, but I expected this to be the case.

Lack of lossless audio DOES suck, and I hope that somehow they will change that before it is released... but I gotta admit, I kind of expected that much.

I'm just glad this IS getting released! I loved Season One after viewing it on Blu-ray and never watched any of the Season 2 episodes on TV. This will be a must own IMHO. Now I just need for them to announce Eli Stone's second season for DVD!

For the first time ever, I was considering passing on the set entirely if there wasn't a BD release. So this is very welcome news!

Re: Pushing Daisies Season 2 ----> July 21st, 2009

This is is the only way to see the final three unaired episodes, I guess. Still at least it will be in HD.

Is Bryan Fuller still going to wrap the series via comic book?

After watching them all so far in HD, I think I can wait to watch them on Blu-ray.

From what I have heard, Bryan Fuller was able to tweek the final episode to give some sense of closure.

I just knew the second season would at least get a DVD release, was worried that it might not get a Blu-ray one. Happy to see that's not the case! I thought a while back Warner announced it would include lossless audio on all future BD releases ... could totally be wrong about that, though. Anyway, if that's the case, then someone is lying to us.

Amazon has it up for pre-order ($34.99):

http://www.amazon.com/Pushing-Daisie...dp/B001FB4VZI/

I pre-ordered it, hoping the price drops a bit before it ships. If there's a better B&M deal, I'll cancel it.
