Suddenly my PS3 doesn't play Fox Blu Rays...

Anyone else having an issue? All other studios load fine, but I get a message saying I need a firmware update...which I don't. I tried disabling internet from the PS3 but that didn't work.

It could be BD+. What version (firmware) do you have? It should be 2.60.

Yep, been on 2.60 for a while now. Funny thing the wife and I fell asleep on Max Payne the other day and was set to finish it. After some trial and error none of the Fox titles play but every other studio loads and play with no problem

Anyone else think Fox playback issues are getting old real quick now? This is not a slam on the OP, but a slam on BD+ being the one thing that appears to need constant firmware updates to be pushed out.

Try unplugging your PS3 from the power outlet and letting it sit for an hour or so an giving it another shot.

I would also check your PS3's network connectivity. Last time that happened to me was trying to play Sleeping Beauty. Once I got that connection re-established it loaded again without a problem.

Along the same lines, somewhere in the PS3 settings there is an option to ask before establishing a network connection. It might be the server is timing out or something. If you tell it to not connect, it might solve your issue.
