I remember I didn't get to go to the concert but I did have this making of video where the Turtles were "interviewed" about the concert.

I hope so too but I worry about this being a Warner Bros. release since they probably wouldn't bother including it even if the fans would be all over it. Let's face it, they've been one of the least (if not the least) consistent studio with regards home video releases.

Has anyone seen this available for preorder yet? I was hoping to get my order in now and not have to worry about remembering. That Blu Ray set looks so sexy!

Loved these movies as a kid. I'll have to pass on this Blu wise though.

Watching #1 now on a 42" plasma. I hope they do a good job cleaning up the BD. This DVD is really grainy. Reminds me of watching the VHS about 1000x when I was younger.

^I hope the BD looks great, but removing GRAIN isn't what I'm hoping for... the movie has always been fairly grainy due to the darkness of the whole affair, but if New Line applies a shitload of DNR to get rid of said grain, I ain't buying.

Yeah, maybe "cleaning up" wasn't the proper phrase; I just hope that it looks as good as it can, given whatever source material they have to work with.

Yeah, the video quality on the DVD for the first movie looks pretty bad. Supposidly the itunes version is better{just brought it, haven't had the chance to see if this is true or not}.
I hope they put extras on here. But then again they could pull a Beatlejuice on us again...

I'll buy it whatever it looks like anyways, as that packaging is superb and I don't own TMNT on Blu anyways. I wonder if TMNT will be a rehash of the other Blu version or if it will be a new print?
For extras, I'm sure they could get commentary or interviews with most of the stars done fairly easy, as most of the actors aren't doing much now. Also, I'm pretty sure things like the coming out of the shells tour, etc. are all in licensing hell now. I'd hope Mirage owns the rights to most of that other licenses turtles material, but who knows. Disney should own the rights to the next mutation, so we'll never see that =(

^ The pizza box style art is nice, although it strikes me as somewhat misleading when it says it contains all 4 "original" movies and counts TMNT as one of the "originals". Saying "all 4 movies" might be better.
Not sure how I feel about this. If the price is right (meaning around $40), I'd get it. Don't own any of the first 3 on DVD but I have TMNT on both DVD (paid) and HD DVD (free).

TMNT sucked...Looks like if I manage to get this set at a good price (under $40) that will be the first to go. Maybe I can recoup $5 from it.

I dig the artwork on the box, can't wait. Glad I held off buying TMNT on Blu-ray earlier since I can get it in the box set. TMNT was great.

I guess since there haven't been any other turtles movies (that I can think of, aside from some TV movie/special I suppose), my idea of original would mean the films that were released in the same time frame as the 1990 film (so I, II, and III).

Warner loves to do this - please see Oceans Trilogy, Matrix Trilogy, Austin Powers, Batmans etc. If you want the "good" films you gotta buy the crap ones as well. Might as well toss in the TMNT stinker and charge an extra $20 or so. Fans who want the originals get stuck paying for the crap one(s). Wait - you want the "good" film only? Well, please take a look at the premium priced Digibook releases of Matrix, Dirty Harry and Batman.
