Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring the horror film 'The Grudge' to Blu-ray on March 24th. This Takashi Shimizu stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as a nurse who encounters a supernatural spirit that is possessing people around her. Video will be presented in 1.85:1 AVC accompanied by a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack.

Thanks. Definitely picking this up. I wonder if the sequel is coming as well? They had announced the BD back when the it first was coming out on video and then cancelled it the last minute.

I have the Import. The movie looked really good albeit grainy as hell. It's only the rated version though, I'm guessing this will be the unrated? Doesn't really make a difference, all the unrated does is add in scenes from Ju-On 2.

I was just about to ask about the import. Have to wonder if the US release will be DNR'd.

I believe this is the unrated version and no Grudge 2 at this time.
