Looks like the TARGET set for my wife....I was going to get the DVD at Blockbuster with credit I have collected, but I will just get the BD version at Target (unless Best Buy betters it)

I might have to pre-order the 2 disc Blu-Ray through BB.com. That way I don't have to wake up really early on a weekend and hope that either Target and BB still have the Blu in-stock.

A friend of mine is setting up/coordinating the midnight release of the film at Borders, so I'm hoping to also score a copy of the Exclusive 2-Disc SD there.

The ads are out and it looks like Target is the version to get if you want all the fancy stuff. And as a poster pointed out above, I'll be waiting with young 13 year old's ready to grab it! ;)

My bad. I got confused with all the releases of this film. I thought the 2-Disc Blu-Ray was going to be the standard for the BD release.

(I asked a Mod to change the thread title but it has yet to be done).

Standard release is 1 Disc.
Target is 2 Disc (1 being the film + extras the other being the exclusive bonus DVD with 45 mins of Special Features and iTunes download)
Best Buy is 1 Disc (so far...no pics of the ad have surfaced)

Not that I know of. I'm not sure why the site says that it's an online only DVD. Pre-orders can only be done through Borders.com now. Could be it?

The particular Borders I work at is doing a Twilight DVD party at 10pm next Friday and selling the Exclusive DVD's + Standard Editions at Midnight. We have packets, flyers, posters and everything out for it already.

This is the only review I've seen so far.

Just pre-ordered my BD at a Best Buy near my girlfriend's place. Decided in the end that having a copy on hold for me via pre-order was better than having to rush to Target for their exclusive BD.

Dragging my girlfriend to the Borders Midnight DVD Release at her local Borders, so I can get the Exclusive DVD as well. Funny how it's not her dragging me to do all this :)

Is this going to be one of those things that are limited edition and go out of print right after the initial 2 disc stock is out?? (and later replaced by the standard 1 disc blu?) Or are they going to keep restocking the shelves with the 2 discer? I'm debating whether or not it's worth it to get there early, or just get it when I can (assuming it won't be THAT hard to find).

I'd rather not see none of them in stores and 100 of them on eBay with $50 opening bids.

Somehow I imagine that the "exclusive" Target/Best Buy thing won't matter here. They always seem to get stuff in stock that's Blockbuster exclusive. I wonder if rentals are effected by this anyway.
