Nice pick, Cosmic Bus. Pre-ordered these from Amazon UK:

Herostratus And Don Levy Shorts
All the Right Noises
The Big Switch

BFI have really committed themselves to region-free HD: that's 15 out of 24 releases that are playable worldwide.

Picked up Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2 for $15.99 a piece, and even though it's a crappy Blu-Ray I still couldn't pass up Kickboxer for $11.99.

Another Borders purchase with the 50% off coupon-

Sky Crawlers for $17.49 plus tax. This price trumps what the DD price will be during the upcoming sale($19.20). Who says that you can't get a bargain at Borders.

Re: The Last Blu-ray or HD-DVD you Bought (Round 2)

I bought Home Alone for $19.99 because it had TWO Ice Age movie cash stickers stuck to it... thought I'd go see that today by redeeming the e-cash like I did for Wolverine and Museum - except for some reason when I put in the codes it said they'd MAIL me paper movie cash instead of it being e-cash... so now I have to wait 3 weeks to see Ice Age and am reworking my plans. BOO.

Re: The Last Blu-ray or HD-DVD you Bought (Round 2)

Harry Potter Five Film Blu Ray Box Set, and X-Men Trilogy Blu Ray at Borders using 50% off coupon.

Probably will be a few bucks cheaper during the DD sale, but two big-ticket sets I might have waffled on buying even during the sale, were it not for being able to hold the blus in my hands and instant gratification and all that. Also, the movie cash from the X-Men set to see Ice Age helped. I am single and do not have kids, but I did want to see the new film, and there is a local theater that has the 3-D version, so it will only cost me something like $1.75 out-of-pocket due to the $10 value of the e-cash. Last film I saw in 3-D was Open Season with my brother.

Re: The Last Blu-ray or HD-DVD you Bought (Round 2)

Its probably YMMV but my parents found out their Blockbuster is going out of business today and all blu-rays were $10 and dvd's $5. They got me Wanted, Arlington Road and Hancock BD's for $30 out the door + tax. This was in Arizona btw.
