Crap. I had no idea he was working on a new edition... was he talking about it coming to Blu-ray soon? Now I'm sort of regretting purchasing it. I'll watch it anyway though and tell you what I think of the PQ/AQ. Hopefully a new edition won't come out so soon as to make the one I just got worthless. I love Del Toro's films and would want the best edition possible.

Being that he loves the format I don't see why there wouldn't be a Blu-release, & he said himself that Mimic is being cleaned up from the original negatives with new footage & the commentary was done.

I picked up a used, like new Drag Me to Hell Blu-ray for $14 (30% off used). No new copies were in stock unfortunately (I would have loved to get Land of the Lost with it)
