Some things can't be talked about on DVDTalk. I wont even go into how I got "Boondock Saints", "Toy Story", "Toy Story 2", & "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" all for $2.00 each. Or how I got "Blade Runner (The Final Cut)", "Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire" & "Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines" for free. But I did and you could have too...
Prices in a thread like this are worthless unless everyone else can get them too.

Agreed. It is just to show off. I could do the same routinely... I consider myself a bargain master. But if others can't necessarily get the deals I don't want people to feel bad about it. I used to share and now it just seems like something I should try and keep more to myself.

Others can get the same deals. And are the ways dishonest? I guess that all depends how you look at it. I never have done anything that went against a store's policy. It's not like I went into a store and stole them or anything like that. I've even mentioned how I've gotten these deals in the past. Some I guess were ok to post and other were not. So now I just don't say how to play it safe with the DVDTalk police. But going as far as to say others cannot get the titles for the same price is completely wrong. Also only 7 of the titles above were bought (again I stress bought) in a manor that may or may not be allowed to be discussed on DVDTalk. I also didn't realize posting prices was so taboo. In fact I prefer when others do post their prices. I love seeing some of the deals others are able to get. So ok, no more price posting. And also, it's not about bragging or getting attention. It's about pointing out that these titles can be bought for the prices I bought them for. A little thinking will show you how. I guess I can understand how DVDTalk would not want to be associated with anything "immoral" (and that's "immoral" not "illegal") but it is a shame when a thread gets taken down for telling other fellow collectors how to go about obtaining the titles. I wish these were things we could all discuss freely. Think of all the great deals we would be getting. And in the end if you did not feel comfortable obtaining your titles in the manor being discussed then you could simply choose not too.

Not exactly. like I said, I've never done anything that goes against any store's policies, and returning merchandise from one store to another is pretty much against any policy of any store. Or so I would assume.

Today in the mail I got:
Immortal Beloved
Run Lola Run
From the Sony Rewards program. In the last month or so I've gotten about 5 BD's for about $8 total. Pretty awesome. Of course I had points going in because I had a card and I had Sony discs laying around that hadn't been registered, but still, it is awesome!
