Wow, I'm digging those releases.

Can't wait for Mulholland Drive.

I might have to buy a multi-region BD player just for Mulholland Dr. and Le Cercle Rouge.

afaik a lot (if not all) of the StudioCanal digibooks have been region A B, so you shouldn't need to.

However most of these should (presumably) make their way to the States at some point or another under the Lionsgate umbrella.

Some very important ones are RB, like Belle de jour.

No, Korean, but it'll be the first region free release of the movie on Blu to my knowledge. CJ's releases are terrific as well, so it's totally worth importing.

:( I'm not into importing... I might have to make an exception for this movie though...

It will also very likely be the longer Korean cut of the film.

You've got my fucking attention. I didn't know it was cut, at least I don't remember that I do. Now...I'll check up on those details as to what was cut.

Re: Foreign Cinema in BLU (part 2)

It is like 11 minutes that was in the original cut shown at Cannes. I'm not sure those 11 minutes were even in the Korean theatrical cut. Maybe they were. The DVD from Korea has the same stuff.

Aside from eBay, what online retailer do you guys typically use to pick up Australian Blu-rays -- EzyDVD, or another?

NoirFan 05-31-10 03:43 PM

Re: Foreign Cinema in BLU (part 2)

I've never ordered an Australian Blu-ray, but I've placed a couple of relatively inexpensive DVD orders from Chaos DVD, both of which included free shipping.
