I got Veronique as well though since it'll probably be quite some time until they get around to that one. |

Re: Foreign Cinema in BLU (part 2)
So, is it "The Pianist" or "The Pianiste"?

Re: Foreign Cinema in BLU (part 2)
Wow, I'm digging those releases.
Can't wait for Mulholland Drive. |
Re: Foreign Cinema in BLU (part 2)
I might have to buy a multi-region BD player just for Mulholland Dr. and Le Cercle Rouge.

However most of these should (presumably) make their way to the States at some point or another under the Lionsgate umbrella. |

afaik a lot (if not all) of the StudioCanal digibooks have been region A B, so you shouldn't need to.

No, Korean, but it'll be the first region free release of the movie on Blu to my knowledge. CJ's releases are terrific as well, so it's totally worth importing.

Re: Foreign Cinema in BLU (part 2)
It will also very likely be the longer Korean cut of the film.

Re: Foreign Cinema in BLU (part 2)
It is like 11 minutes that was in the original cut shown at Cannes. I'm not sure those 11 minutes were even in the Korean theatrical cut. Maybe they were. The DVD from Korea has the same stuff.

Aside from eBay, what online retailer do you guys typically use to pick up Australian Blu-rays -- EzyDVD, or another?
|
Re: Foreign Cinema in BLU (part 2)
I've never ordered an Australian Blu-ray, but I've placed a couple of relatively inexpensive DVD orders from Chaos DVD, both of which included free shipping.
