When will Universal release Waterworld Extended in BD?
Saw the new 2 disc extended edition of Waterworld (which looks to be the ABC extended edition) ...does anyone know when Uni will release this on BD? Hope they don't just remaster the previous HD for BD....

i was going to buy the dvd until the review said it was still edited for tv when it aired on abc. WHo knows if it will make it to blu-ray. I would only buy if it wasn't the edited cut.

The "Waterworld" DVD package actually contains both cuts of the film, sure to please fans everywhere. With both versions sporting anamorphic widescreen transfers (1.85:1 aspect ratio), the result is a pleasing visual event on the theatrical side of the coin. Detail is in ample supply, with strong color preservation and crisp black detail. David |
