Plot and action were a little meh. Just Harrison Ford trying to do another action flick and disguising the fact that he's too old by playing an over-the-hill, white-collar family man. Also, is it just me, or does the cover makes Paul Bettany look like a young Laurence Fishburne?

Toy Story
Hadn't watched the first film in years, so I was happy to see it was still as great as when I first watched it.
A/V was great. Completely boggles my mind how far Pixar has come animation-wise since this film.

Screwballs.. I hadn't seen it since the VHS was out. Love the ending.. but wish the transfer was better.

The Fall - wow! I thought the 35mm print I saw at Landmark Bethesda looked great, but the hidef transfer - major I watched this with director Tarsem's commentary track - and good grief does he talk ALOT about the film, it was so different and superior than the 'Apocalpyto' commentary track, which while better than the snoozefest of 'Braveheart', still confirms that Gibson's running track of 'decent' commentary tracks lacking.
The Good The Bad The Weird (130min version) - the transfer is amazing - the close ups look so ultravivid and so highly tactile, you almost want to reach into the screen. The 7.1 soundmix (downmixed to 6.1 - I don't have a 7.1 setup) is a wild and insanely fun soundmix - puts current Hollywood bluray audio mixes to shame.

Ninja Assassin - Kicked all kinds of ass. I don't care that they eschewed essentials like plot, character development, logic, etc. This was 99 minutes of some goddamn gory ninja ass kickery! PQ was exceptionally solid, and the AQ was booming. Lots of fun.

Watched 3 episodes of Star Trek TOS Season 1 on HDDVD (Menagerie A++)
Finishing up the Resident Evil series with Extinction today. After the Soccer game, who knows? Watched La Femme Nikita earlier in the week, maybe follow it up with Point of no Return?
Also got Logan's Run in the mail yesterday and I've never seen it.

Daybreakers - Meh. Glad I rented this. I love Ethan Hawke, & liked him in this, but the movie did nothing for me. I don't get all the geek-love for the Spierg Bros. PQ wasn't that great either.

From Paris With Love - I think this is the most interesting character Travolta has played since Pulp Fiction. The plot here is far from original, though there is a twist that comes out of left field. PQ wasn't too impressive - hazy and flat. AQ fared a bit better. Extras are mostly fluff pieces.

Valentines Day It's rom-com weekend here in the Schrader household this weekend. I saw this in the theater and enjoyed it. I found the disc looked good but the audio was a tad muffled.
