Labyrinth. Not as good as my memory made it out to be, but still a strong, entertaining, and imaginative film. I'll have to pick this up when it goes on sale.

Chuck Season 1
I got this during that crazy WBShop deal...and it was worth every penny and more.
The PQ is mediocre...but the show is awesome. I cannot wait to rent/buy Season 2 now...

Sweeney Todd.
I finally convinced my sister to watch it with me - she had never seen it. It's such an incredible, absolutely amazing film. One of my favorites already... I had never seen any previous version of it, but I just love this Tim Burton film and the music is phenomenal. The performances, art design, costumes, make up, music, story, direction, etc. - everything about this movie excels. I finally caved and ordered the complete soundtrack from second spin last night as well.

Trick 'r Treat - It's been a year since I saw it last, in theaters. Looked great on BD, audio was solid. I'll likely dig into the extra features later tonight.

Mamma Mia I don't know what it is about this crazy movie but I think it is such a hoot. To think only 2 out of the 8 lead characters in a musical are song and dance trained is strange but it works. I love the music, love the fun and I used to bang an english chick that looked like a young Julie Walters so I got that going for me.

2 Evil Eyes and Children of the Corn - Both terrible films, but at least they looked nice. Come on AB, where's Suspiria and Herzog?

The Girlfriend Experience. I enjoyed it, yet I can't really say it was one of my favorite Soderbergh films. After it ended my mind was stuck on it for quite some time though - and it's really one of those movies that you appreciate more for how it makes you think rather than for anything else. The performances were effective and natural. I'll want to get this sometime but I don't see it as having huge replay value. Still an amazing movie in many regards. It was a sad look into the lives of some rather lonely and disconnected people.
Mirrormask. I had quite a lot of fun watching this, even if I'm not sure I was as impressed by it as most seem to be. It was still a very entertaining time and a film I'd probably want to purchase when it goes on sale. It's a very creative movie visually and tells a good story that children and adult's can appreciate.

One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest - Never saw this movie before, Really loved it. Had many, many enjoyable elements (which is why i'm sure it's so acclaimed). Really liked seeing Danny DeVito and Christopher Lloyd in such early roles. Great movie.

Sunshine Cleaning rental. I knew this was a comedy but didn't realize it was a dark comedy until it showed up. Not many comedies can start with
It was pretty humerous, we enjoyed it but it's not a purchase for me.
Transformers Hadn't seen this in a while and decided I needed a refresher before T2 comes out.
No wonder I have so many unopened on the shelf, it seems all I ever watch is rentals or old reliables.

Year One here also, amazing PQ though.
I like Jack Black but this movie was shit apart from a few laughs. Harold Ramis should be ashamed (fart and poop jokes, really Harold?)

Smokey And The Bandit I graduated high school the year this and Star Wars came out. I have to admit I liked this better. It has always been one of my favorite movies and certainly one of my favorite comedies. Hence the black 1978 Trans Am parked in my garage.

Passengers. Overall, this was an average film. It wasn't too exciting, too interesting, nor was it surprising. I figured out the "shocking ending" before I even started the movie. It was still a decent film though with reasonably good direction, performances, and an okay concept - nice music too - but it could have been better executed overall.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest -- first time watching it. Has anyone told jack N. it's time to stop playing his role -- the filming of it is over... :-)
