Texas Chainsaw 3D...gotta say, good 3D and really not a bad movie. I actually liked it more than I probably should have. I don’t know why, hit the same horror tropes as every garbage remake/reimagining that comes along, but this was a little different and connected with me, especially end. I even stuck around for the extras. I don’t know how they were going to make 6 films from this like Saw which the producer said and I guess definitely not happening given this is 7 years old now, but I quite enjoyed this all around. It’s short, gets to the point, the kills, some surprises and truthfully not that bad. 3D isn’t going to be reference, but there was some nice depth and chainsaw popout. Really thought the movie would suck, it didn’t. Definitely got my $10 worth and see watching again. That’s really what matters.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (3D)...exceptional this time around. absolutely exceptional. in 3D even Tarkin and Leia looked better than when i saw in theater. certainly the bleakest of the SW movies, but absolutely ranks up there with OT. a perfect prequel. just perfect. i was enthralled much more so than my first viewings. i'm killing myself that i gave this 3 stars originally. there is no way this is 3 stars. Edwards made this look like the OT. Even Lucas couldn't do that with the PT. this was dirty and fit in beautifully with the OT which i will begin again tomorrow night.

this movie deserves another look if anyone felt it wasn't up to SW par the first or even second time. just an amazing, SW adventure that sets up the next 6 beautifully.

The OT is only reserved for , but this is absolutely 4.5. my original 3? no way in hell!!!

Men in Black 3 (3D)...this movie was so much fun and more fun then it had any right to be. i really had a blast from start to finish. i'm kicking myself for putting it off so long. just pure, mindless fun, with a dash of heart. Stuhlbarg was great, as was Brolin, of course, but really liked Stuhlbarg's Griffin character. liked everything about this actually. solid fun, solid action. i'm glad this did well overall with WW take. truly a blast.

Ocean Waves. Only 2 more Ghibli flicks to go. With my luck, they'll start releasing them all in 4K.

Watched Shazam! this evening. Liked it more than I thought I would, it was certainly entertaining, juvenile but entertaining, still, I'll give it somewhere between 3½ and 4 stars. Probably closer to 4.
