If Kellan Lutz is one of the main stars you know the movie is going to suck.

Freeheld

Steve Carell as the gay activist was funny

not in one sitting (it's over six hours for both movies) - but finished off watching 'The New Land' - wow, what an epic beautifully shot story!

Everest. A average movie though respect what the real life climbers accomplished.

Her. Even better the second time and the cinematography is outstanding.

Straight Outta Compton. It was good though left out a few of N.W.A. hits and made it seem like F The Police was the only song they covered while ignoring the others.

The Intern

It started slow but then you began to connect with De Niro and Hathaway's characters.

You know it wasn't half bad. Certainly decent enough for the target audience.

Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser

Casino Royale. The chase scene with the crane is intense.

As much as I thought this was an unnecessary sequel, I did find it pretty funny at times.

Ribisi dressed up as a Ninja turtle lol

Bridge of Spies

Glad we got rain which is the closest to Eastern European weather that you can get in the Bay Area to set the right mood for the movie.

Strange seeing a Spielberg movie without a John Williams score.

I've heard from a few people that this is pretty slow moving. Your thoughts? My wife loves Tom Hanks but she has a tendency to fall asleep if the movie moves slow. Then wants me to either tell her the entire movie or watch it again at which time she promptly falls asleep again.

There is no action and it might be slow since it is all dialogue.

I know it is really long at 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Maybe split it up in 2 days. That is what I do with really long movies like the Godfather but since this was a rental I wanted to finish it for the next Netflix rental on Monday.

Obviously well done and Matt Damon was great. The only thing missing was Wilson.
