Jaws - Yes, again. For the second time this week. But it was my gf's first time seeing it (how the fuck can anyone live for 23 years on this planet without seeing Jaws?!?), and watching it vicariously through her was so much fun. She literally jumped when Ben Gardner's head popped out.

Hunger Games at the behest of my wife. Damn, does this movie last forever. I'll take Battle Royale (and Running Man) over this silliness any day.

The Dictator
I thought it was funny but not hilarious except a few scenes
I don't think the discs I got from Netflix has the banned footage and I don't even know what the banned footage is.

Project X was stupid and there are better teen party movies.
Bernie better than what I expected and Jack Black should get some Oscar consideration.

Actually I haven't seen it yet so I'll take your word for it.
Life As We Know It picked this up at the last trade in sale for $5, the only way I would own this. But it's a good movie to pop in while the wife is watching

Footloose (original). It is after all, the movie that defined a generation. At least according to the cover and if you can't trust covers, just who can you trust?!?!?!?

Fight Club
Hadn't watched since before my son was born in 2007 and I was worried if it held up and I think it did pretty well.
An unexpected difference though was near the beginning, in one of the support groups when the guy talks about how his ex-wife had her first child with her new husband, and the guy breaks down. That definitely hit a little harder after having a kid of my own.

50/50
I'd been putting the movie off because of the subject matter (not that I didn't want to see it) and found it succeeded at being both humorous and sad at the same time. Joseph Gordon Levitt was great as the lead and I wanted to clap when he told Bryce Dallas Howard's character to get off his porch.

As I expected De Niro would probably be in 3-4 scenes and that is it. A average dirty cop drama.
