It was the budget, they had to gamble on the new digital camera and it wasn't ready for a demanding shoot. Warner had already sunk millions of lost money into Superman Returns before a single shot had ever been taken by Singer, it had to be done on the cheap. They had to move production to Australia for the tax breaks and at a rushed pace. It's amazing that it turned out as half decently as it did, considering the many issues.

Frozen 3D.

I had a great time with it but it is slightly overrated. There's a face to heel turn that seems to exist solely to tack on a last minute villain that doesn't really hold up to casual scrutiny. Also, although a nice song on its own, "Let It Go" sounds too much like a random pop song compared to the rest of the music in the movie.

Overall, I enjoyed it and loved the sumptuous use of 3D but I can't say I could ever hold it on a pedestal.

The Family. Luc Besson and the paycheck grabbing stars in this movie owe me 1 hour 53 minutes of my life back.
