50/50 Was surprised a movie about cancer could be funny, but it did have some laughs. Got really serious in the third act. Overall a good rental but not one I'll look to own

Tried to watch Lockout but it wouldn't load in my SONY and yes I just recently updated the firmware

World Trade Center I usually watch this around the 9/11 anniversary but forgot this year so I popped it in. I did catch a little of the commentary which sounded good so I'll have to watch the whole thing with commentary next time. During the commentary the police dog that was killed in the attack was mentioned. The crushed K-9 Jeep the officer used is part of the traveling 9/11 memorial exhibit. Part of the building obviously fell on it.

Last two were Camille 2000 (extended edition) and We Were Soldiers.

This was my second time watching Camille and I'm enjoying it more and more. Yes, it has more than its share of stilted acting and dialogue but also some great lines. I think my favorite is, "Another worthless lady. You seem to attract them." (It's particularly wicked in the context of the scene in which it's delivered).

I'm not any kind of authority on Metzger's work, but this seems to be more of a "conventional movie with sex" than an "erotic film" per se. I've also seen Lickerish Quartet, but it's a completely different ball of wax.

Second time watching We Were Soldiers but first time in surround. Holy cow, this is on my short list as one of the most active surround mixes I've ever heard; I practically jumped a few times. It's a lossy track (I know the UK version has lossless), but I got it for five bucks during the last Upgrade and Save (an older copy and apparently mispriced), and it was certainly worth that much.

The Five-Year Engagement

It seems everybody hated it but I liked it though it was 2 hrs and 4 minutes.

Had some good laughs with great supporting actors like Kevin Hart, Brian Posehn, Mindy Kaling, Chris Pratt, and Alison Brie plus the ending was kind of touching and almost shed a tear.

High Fidelity

First time I have seen it again in 12 years. The record store interaction was the best though it sometimes lagged with the scenes with the ex Laura.

Avengers third time since it's release and 4th time overall to see this movie and really caught some nuances I'd missed before
