Assault on Precinct 13. Finally had my OMG HD moment. The quality on this compared to the previous DVD's is incredible. I bought a player because it came with the PS3 but had not seen anything that really made me feel that is was so great but this one WOW just WOW... for a movie that old and low budge to boot. Fantastic transfer and sound.

Pineapple Express. Good PQ/AQ but nothing amazing. I didn't find the movie as funny this time as I did in the theater. It may just be that I wasn't in the right mood though. Plus it was 1 am in the morning...

This was my first pre-Daniel Craig Bond film. Great movie. PQ was ridiculous.

Day of the Dead (1985) - DNR or not, it looked pretty damn good for the most part and the audio was good, just not impressive.

Hulk Vs. and Ghost Town

Ghost Town looked really good and was a great movie also.

Hulk Vs. well.. looked good despite some color banding. Hulk Vs. Wolverine was much better than Thor. 'cuz well, Wolverine was in it. Snikt Snikt.

X-Files I want to Believe good PQ and AQ although I didn't notice much from the surrounds. I never followed the show so none of the backstory or the inside jokes made sense to me. Decent movie seemed a tad slow moving at times. For my firey red heads I prefer Julianne Moore to Gillian Anderson.

Last night I watched Casino Royale. Hadn't seen it yet as I'm not a big Bond film. Was pleasantly surprised by the movie, and blown away by the picture quality.

One of my favorite movies, one of my favorite DVD's, my favorite HD-DVD. Saw this in the theater and loved it. It hits on all cylinders.

Army of Darkness on HD DVD. Good quality, but it made some of the effects shots look pretty terrible.

Death Race

Entertaining enough, but my love for Sly Stallone punching women in the face means the original is still alot better. The PQ is, well, it's Universal. You figure it out.
