Godfather BD $34.99 Hollywood Video YMMV

Courtesy of Calrudy at Highdefdigest.

I was skeptical that this would be there, but lo and behold I picked it up at lunch. It's marked at $34.99 but rings at $79.99. The cashier at the one I went to changed the price without even asking so it might depend on the one you go to.

Run don't walk!

It should be at multiple because I picked up mine in Los Angeles. Go to store locator on their site and the ones that have a blu-ray logo are the ones that you want to try.

my store has the blu-ray logo but they don't sell blu-ray discs. Just rent them. Bust for me.

So they mislabeled it at one store (or mislabeled it for price changes and its not updated in the computer)?

I think they mislabeled it at a lot of stores because apparently they are just starting to expand their selection and that’s how it came when they got it.

According to the HV in Gresham, this is the new price. I went there on Halloween, saw the 34.99 tag and expected to get problems when I brought it to the register. However, when the clerk rang it up he immediately started talking about how he was surprised when he got the notice from corporate to reduce it. Maybe he didn't know what he was talking about but it might be a good idea to keep checking if you're looking for one.

For any Portland, OR locals it was the HV in Gresham at the Fred Meyer on Burnside.
