Well the Steels for POTC: COTBP and Dead Mans Chest totally SUCK!
They are SINGLE disc capacity cases with the 2nd BR disc in a damn envelope stuck to the outside.
Why the hell would they do that?? After SB, SW are 3 disc cases and At Worlds End is at least 2 disc overlapped one.
Absolutely friggin' stupid as crap!

Yea, seems silly since some of the movies are one discers in a 2disc capacity case. Odd.
Not a huge deal though... I just threw my little envelope in the case and continued on with my day.

my BBs seemed to have restocked on some more of these disney BRs. plenty for everyone, good!
nice pic, xage. your copy of Sleeping Beauty doesn't have the "Limited Time Only" yellow sticker on the front. guess that means you have to track that "version" down also, LOL.

Also, you can get the steelbook case for free, and keep it and get your money back from the pre-order if you find a cheaper price on it from somewhere else later....lots of people did this with the free steelbook cases for pre-ordering Snow White and Up at BB...

Why? You're getting the steelbook for free, AND you'll get the regular BD case once it comes out....or another way of looking at it: you're getting a free regular BD case (and artwork) this way that you wouldn't get if you bought it already in the steelbook....

Really? I LOVE getting a Steelbook for pre-ordering. It truly is, essentially, free (considering you were going to buy the film in the first place). Also, if you choose to use the Steelbook instead of the standard case, then you have an extra case on hand as a replacement (and who doesn't need one of those every once in a while?)

Found this on Future Shop forum regarding the District 9 Steelbook:
Wasn't going to go tomorrow since i preordered online and wanted to avoid the christmas rush but definitely picking it up in the morning now.
Hi folks, for those of you that ordered DS9 on the web I have some very bad news.
Sony did not ship us our web allocation of the Steelbook.
Because of the limited run nature of these there are no others we can source to send to the web.
Each customer that had an order will be contacted individually via email by our customer service people and the order will be cancelled.
You may not have been contacted yet so at the very least I wanted to give everyone a heads up so they could get it in store tomorrow.
IF YOU REALLY WANT THE STEELBOOK THE ONLY WAY TO GET IT IS IN STORE TOMORROW AM.
I have 4000 distributed to the stores so there is a healthy amount for this size of release. But with the time of year it will likely go fast.
On behalf of Sony and FS we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this.
Because of the short timelines in which we discovered the error (this afternoon) and the busy time of year we did not have the option to pull any from stores.

I'd rather have the fucking SteelBook. I didn't find out my order was canceled until later in the day on Tuesday, and my connection in Canada wasn't able to find it at any of his local stores.

Exactly and because a whole bunch of people (including me) swarmed the FS message board complaining about it FS started deleting and closing all "negative" threads. Plus we were told the $10 compensation would be sent by the end of the week and nothing so far. Be lucky you guys in the US can't order from FS considering how they treat their customers.

That really does suck about FS's bad customer service - I was taking a huge chance by putting District 9 Steelbook on my Christmas list, but I made my family realize how limited it would be and luckily they came through for me
