It's quite simple really... If it's on BD, you like the movie/show, price is good, buy buy buy. If it's on BD, pricey, not sure it's good, rent rent rent. If it's not on BD, it's a good movie, get it on DVD, b/c it's cheap cheap cheap. If it's not on BD, it's a good movie, and not cheap on dvd, well, wait wait wait.
So far works for me and i saved a bunch comparing what i spent back in 2000 when vhs was replaced by dvds... DVDs actually push BD w/o even knowing it. Think about it, BD rental is almost instant, b/c dvd rental services are already in motion. Unlike vhs and dvd transition times... |
When it comes to Projection systems (blu ray projectors? projectors where you attach your DVD player or blu ray player to it?), are the blu rays a huge improvement over DVDs when projected?

I saw reviews of some "poor" or "mediocre" HD-DVDs that said the PQ was not worth upgrading. Even those "mediocre" discs are a good improvement on my 106" IMO. |
