thanx for the answer about the case
I still think the wording "only at Target" and "additional" bonus footage indicates something more

I agree that this wording seems almost intentionally deceptive. But there is no supplements/footage that is unique to Target -- for BD or SD. It's the same disc #2 that everyone else has.

The case, however, is really excellent.

That's what they're trying to get you to think. They're hoping that people imply that from what's written, but what's written doesn't actually say that.

My disc finally loaded after about 8 minutes. I watched the movie, popped it out, then tried again and it booted right up.

Mine isn't playing on my ps3 either. Kinda of upset because I have a pneumonia and don't want to drive out to target again.

PS3 Owners: Change settings under BD/DVD Settings > BD Internet Connection set to Confirm prevent this automatic BD-Live download in the future.

Glad to see I'm not the only 1 with this problem. Picked up the 2nd to last copy of the Target exclusive blu-ray this afternoon. This was my 1st blu-ray purchase since I picked up a PS3 recently and was thinking it was because I only had a controller and no dvd remote that it wasn't working. I was getting pissed staring that that blue blinking icon and the this function is not operational popping up. I have it on now hoping it will eventually load.

Just turn off the internet connectivity in the setup on the PS3 and and it will play fine. It's trying to access Live content.

I'm letting mine run right now for a while - I'll check in on it in 15 minutes. PS3 BTW. I did change my Internet connection for BD Live to Confirm and I was able to access the disc. I still want the BD Live features so I'm letting it run again.

PS3 for me also. I waited about 10 minutes and gave up. Turned off the internet connection as mentioned about and it played fine.

I wonder how much of a stir this is going to cause with the people that don't know they can get around the Live for now.

Wonder if it's just the number of people trying to connect?

Well, I got mine from Amazon and didn't realize there were any problems... Been watching it for about 30 mins now and came to the thread to comment how great it looks, then read about all the issues. So it seems I got a good copy.

Hmmm, picked up my copy at Best Buy today but since I won't get a player until November, it'll be too late to take it back!

I've been noticing with some Blu-rays that it seems that content won't play until the day the Blu-ray gets released. So perhaps a reviewer bypassed the download because it wasn't available, or has been mentioned, maybe the servers are just jammed.

Do all the Target mask editions have the same UPC? If not where do I look for the UPC on that edition?

Those numbers in the first post do not match either of the numbers on my box from Target. I have one UPC on the slip case and another inside on the paper sleeve. My disc seems to work fine in my PS3.
