Pretty excited if this turns out to be true.
Hulk Blu-ray to House 70 Minutes of Cut Footage
Posted June 11, 2008 10:57 AM by Josh
During an interview with director Louis Leterrier, he mentioned that the upcoming Blu-ray release of 'The Incredible Hulk', which is set to be released this Friday, will contain 70 minutes of cut footage. Apparently, during the editing process, some much-loved scenes got cut (including one which is in the trailer, but won't be in the final cut of the film), and the Blu-ray will showcase them all.
"There's some great stuff and there's some really horrible stuff, but you'll see it all," commented Leterrier. Regardless, Blu-ray fans will get to see a side of the film that (apparently) those who buy the DVD won't.
Those close to the situation have speculated a falling-out between Leterrier and the film's star Edward Norton over the cutting of certain scenes. Here's hoping that the Blu-ray also has some nice intros from them both on why they loved the scene and why it was eventually cut.

Very cool.

Does this mean an extended cut, or just the scenes will be there separately? The comment about there being some horrible stuff doesn't sound good if it's being put into the film.

A scene in the trailer won't be in the movie? That sounds like bait and switch to me. I smell lawsuit. Seriously, I wonder if the deleted scenes will be presented in HD?

This happens with tons of movies its not bait and switch. Do you even know what that means?

What might qualify as bait and switch is if all the trailers show a green Hulk and in the actual film we get a grey Hulk
... but seriously, good news about the deleted scenes if it's true. I hope they integrate the good stuff back into the film for an extended cut, provide a branching option on the Blu-ray between the theatrical and the extended versions, and present the rest of the deleted scenes in HD

My guess is that the scene not in the movie is the Tony Stark clip which is being put in to try to get Iron Man fans to go see what will probably be a weak movie.
"Cool Iron Man is in it- sure lets go see it.
Hey Iron Man never appeared "
But heck Marvel would never do that I am sure

Captain America to show up in Hulk deleted scenes?

After last week’s interview by director Louis Leterrier to G4TV – when he mentioned a possible cameo of Captain America on the upcoming The Incredible Hulk – everyone who had the chance to watch the movie was frustrated by not seeing the beloved character or perhaps his shield again. And that’s true: he is NOT on the final cut. However, it doesn’t mean he’s not there. On an exclusive interview to SOS Hollywood, Louis Leterrier revealed the secret — beware of the spoilers!
“There’s a point when Bruce Banner gives up on his quest for the cure and decide to kill himself. So he travels far North and reaches the Arctic Circle. You might have seen bits of it in some of the promos. The result was a very dark and strong scene, which Marvel, me and everyone else’s considered to be too hard to young audiences to take, so we’ve cut it. Having that said, when Bruce arrives at his destination he meets up with Captain America! At some point this week, we will make it available on the internet – but I cannot tell you where or when – and the material will definitely be on the DVD.”

That sounds good, I saw the movie at midnight last night and it was a lot of fun. It'd be nice if there were some more character scenes with ED and what not, but overall it was an entertaining movie. And people were CHEERING that Tony Stark cameo.
