Looks like they raised most of the prices...not much of a sale

Bring back the B1G1 sales

I think it's about time that Amazon got some new titles for these sales.

Thanks to the OP. There were only three I wanted on the list so I picked those up. Not too shabby for $13 each.

Agreed. I checked the prices on a few of those items before the sale and they were 25% lower. So they increased the price by 33% then give 33% off !

Isn't this the "summer blowout" sale just with reduced titles and a price jump on some?

Aside from the B2G1F aspect of it and the price jump (as you mentioned), the titles look very similar.

but good thing about this is that when they lower the prices back in a week or so you can call and get an adjustment...

Some of them does have an increasing price, a few aren't. I kinda prefer the sale they had a few weeks ago... but I'm pretty tempted with some of the titles. Unfortunately I don't have budget to buy BDs at least until the end of this month.

You honestly think they wouldn't know their own price guarantee policy well enough to avoid this?

From what I've seen on these and other forums, they don't know their policy well enough. Well, at least some of their reps don't!

past history suggests that they don't. more than once, i've gotten refunds on titles bought during a B1G1 sale when the price dropped less than 30 days after.

Said history has saved me litterally hundreds of dollars... I feel lucky that they have actually done this. If it dies, so be it...
