"21" on BLU-RAY 7/22/08
Sony has announced a late-July next-gen bow for the smash '21,' which will hit Blu-ray with bonus features and a BD-Java exclusive.
The sleeper surprise of the Winter season, the Kevin Spacey-Jim Sturgess starrer scored over $90 million at the domestic box. Sony will debut the Blu-ray on July 22, day-and-date with the single-disc and two-disc standard DVD editions. Bonus features shared between the Blu-ray and two-disc DVD include an audio commentary with director Robert Luketic and cast, plus a trio of featurettes ("21: The Advantage Player," "Basic Strategy: A Complete Film Journal," "Money Plays: A Tour of the Good Life"). Exclusive to the Blu-ray is the interactive game "21: Virtual Blackjack," which is also enhanced with BD-Java. There are no tech specs, but we'll keep you posted. Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $38.96. http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...This_July/1733 |
