Weinstein needs to ... hurry up and go BD ...

Come on already. It's bullshit Halloween '07 and other new titles haven't gotten HD/BD releases. I'm not buying the goddamn SD. I don't care. Either put these movies on BD like everyone else, or sell the rights to a company that can.

FWIW, Genius -- Weinstein's home video arm -- have their first Blu-ray release for pre-order on Amazon now. It's the remaster of the original Lonesome Dove miniseries.

Since Weinstein's library is kinda genre-heavy, I wonder if we'll see something from them closer to Halloween.

Didn't Genius announce a Blu-ray edition of Night of the Living Dead?

Removed 'shit' from title.
I think we don't put that in titles.

I think you need to quit being prudes. There's nothing wrong with the bloody word.

The forum has gone 'family friendly'.

Seriously - check the posts on it in the Feedback Forum.

I believe Genius handles WWE's releases, so next week's WrestleMania 24 will be their first Blu title.

I would love love LOVE to get The Mist on Blu. Probably 1408 too (don't want to shell out for the import).

Give me The Mist and Grindhouse (any way they want) and I'm good to go.

Funny, because I don't care whether you buy the SD version either!
