In Regards to my Toshiba 5 HD DVD's rebate
 

I appologize if this violates the thread rules. Since it pertains to HD DVD's...I felt it would be fine for posting...

I had my rebate form rejected because my receipt wasn't included. I had included a photocopy, and they did not return that in the envelope, however, they returned the UPC and the rebate form. The letter states that I have until May 9, 2008 to return the complete rebate requirements.

On to the reason for my thread...I am curious if anyone still has the original receipt for the 360 HD DVD add-on or perhaps a photocopy they would be willing to mail to me, or even scan it so I could just print it out for myself? I tried getting Best Buy to print me out another reciept with my credit card, but that was a no go. I would be incredibley greatful for any help.

Don't you think they'll just reject it again if you include another photocopy?

I thought photocopies were allowed?
That's what I used, and I received my discs.

Are you sure that you didn't just forget to include it the first time?
Funny they'd return everything to you, except for photocopied receipt!

They didn't reject it because it was a photocopy, they claimed i didn't include it, but I know I did. I'm very anal about these things.

I've heard that others are being rejected because of the PO Boxes that were excepting them are now closed.

Just make sure you look at the new cypher for what your exspecting to recieve when your selecting your titles. Most of the initial films are being substituted with something else.

Dont exspect to get either Frighteners or The Thing.

Didn't you mention in the other thread that you bought it online? It'll be in your order history, if so. That should work fine for your receipt...

Looks like i'm out of luck then, apparently I never signed up through Best Buy's website.
