Natural Born Killers coming to Blu-ray!
Spanish-language article here
Looks like Oliver Stone's controversy monger is coming to Blu-ray soon. Not much is known except for the small art graphic (and it's very cool) and the fact that this will be one of WB's "book-style" releases. A Dolby TrueHD track will be on the disc.
Permitting this is the director's cut, count me in. Warner has loosened up on its policy against unrated releases in recent years, and I can't see them giving us the theatrical cut. Once again, Warner is the studio to beat with hi-def catalog titles.

Ah...the memories of watching this movie drunk at the theater. I'm, especially if they have both cuts and the extras ported over from the director's cut. I think we need to see Denis Leary doing psycho in HD.

It's probably just PR, but Stone actually claims that both versions are director's cuts because he made them. I would prefer the unrated version, but it would be even better if we could get both.

I still have the 3-laserdisc Pioneer box set. It's the most gorgeous laser box ever released (yes, even lovelier than Criterion's 5-disc 'Brazil'). The crappy packaging and non-anamorphic transfer on the old (non-WB edit) disc left me feeling like I'd rather stick with what I had.
If WB do license the rights to this from Lionsgate, I wonder if they'll get the extras (commentary track, etc.) as well.

I'll gladly upgrade to BD if it gets released. I'll probably pass on the theatrical cut, though.

I'm in the "if it's the directors cut, count me in" camp. I really have a feeling that it won't be so I really have a feeling that I'll be passing on this.
